"Each Caulfield Conservatory
is truly unique and is custom
made to the most exacting traditional craft standards"

Exquisite Craftsmanship

The design, along with scaled architectural drawings, accompanies the initial estimate and when an order is placed a detailed site survey is made. Every possible option available is discussed including the choice of paint colour, ventilation methods and embellishment details right down to the style and finish of the ironmongery.

Top quality, recognised brands are used including Farrow and Ball paints and Clayton Munroe’s renowned hand made ironmongery which includes door handles, stays, casement fasteners and so on. Once all details have been confirmed, the project is booked into our workshop for production.

Bespoke is a term all too often used inappropriately but nothing else more accurately reflects our work. We use no standard or modular components whatsoever. Each design is a collaborative effort involving Mark and Peter Caulfield, James Warlow and Eric Kyte. Every project is designed and built to be fit for its purpose and to blend with and enhance the architectural features of its parent building.

Our workshops are staffed only by apprentice trained craftsmen who employ the finest craft skills. Each project is hand made using time honoured joinery methods such as fully mortised and tenoned joints. The roofs are all fully assembled in our workshops with each joint hand spliced into the ridge or hand carved boss.
